If you put these ingredients in a pot and mix them, you will be making animated movies, shorts, tutorials, or whatever you want to use the skill for. It could look overwhelming, but it’s not. We’re living in a time where you have to wear multiple hats to make it. A rapper can’t just spit lyrics. He/she has to spit, make beats, film videos, market, and all that to maximize their talent. With the technology and information available these days, that’s the path you have to take.
G. K. Chesterton said “Anything worth doing is worth doing badly.” This is a deep quote. I interpret it like just do it. It doesn’t matter if what you do is perfect or not. You just have to keep doing what you do for the love. The perfection is going to come over time. Maybe you’re a good writer, but you suck at art, voice acting, and all the other stuff. That’s okay. All you have to do is put something out there. You will be surprised how charming and authentic your imperfect work will turn out.
This is a powerful ebook I just gave you. Even though it’s short, it gives you the blueprint to being a successful animator. The only thing you need to do is practice, and elaborate on the chapters in this book by watching the recommended tutorials on Youtube. This book simplified the whole animation process for you. Not only that, I also recommended free options to all the software to get you in the game.
With this knowledge, you don’t need a big team if you can’t afford one. If you can get a team, that’s great. The more people you have helping you the better, but at least you know you can do it by yourself with hard work and dedication.
I gave this book the title “Learn How to Animate Better Than Me” because if I can do this, you can. I didn’t have any artistic, musical, or computer skills when I started. I’m lazy, plus I have all types of emotional issues, but I loved cartoons ever since I was a kid, so I had a desire to make my own with an adult twist.
There are gonna be some of you that read this book that have natural artistic, musical, and computer skills that will do way better than me. Then there are those that don’t even know they have these natural talents until they bring it up out of themselves. Don’t forget about the folks that have a way better work ethic than me. Those people are going to thrive also.
Once you know the formulas I break down in this book, the rest will come easy. That’s why I suggest you study this book. Read it a few times. Pick it up every now and then, and use it as a reference.
